We are looking for an exceptional leader/manager who has the right attitude, skills and drive to take over our seafood-orientated fun-dining venue, Harbourside Ocean Bar Grill. We seek someone hungry for their next challenge, motivated and energetic, ready to focus on taking us to the next level!

The right candidate will have exceptional leadership and communication skills, be commercially savvy and know how to create and maintain 'The Dream Team'.

Please note: You should have a minimum up to 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.


REQUIREMENTS

Are you someone that fits this brief?

  • Must have full NZ working rights
  • You have worked for a similar premium high-volume restaurant at supervisory level for at least 2 years
  • Demonstrated experience in senior hospitality roles including large scale restaurants.
  • Proven experience in staff leadership, training, and development.
  • A strong, positive personality and flare.
  • You have passion for providing exceptional guest service
  • You are passionate about serving simply the best food and wine
  • You love to work within a great team environment and enjoy fast paced service
  • You get a buzz from working hard and getting great results
  • You have a current Manager’s Certificate or LCQ
  • You understand how a restaurant works, are familiar with online reservations systems
  • Understand the value of events and be confident creating, implementing, and executing them.
  • Excellent business management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent decision-making skills and a can do approach to work.
  • You would like to build on a successful career in the hospitality industry
